💬 What real owners actually say

Synthesized from 2026 owner reviews & discussions across social media — the things spec sheets leave out.

Lockable front wheel. Lock it straight for running; unlock for walking and tight turns.
Suspension for smooth runs. Good suspension protects baby and your joints on rough ground.
Hand brake for hills. A rear hand brake adds control on descents.
Wait until baby can sit. Running is for older babies (usually 6–8 months) — check guidance.
Always use the wrist strap. A runaway stroller is the real risk — tether yourself.

What the review covers — The Baby Gear Guy

Key points from The Baby Gear Guy’s review, best running strollers — plus the full video below.

The Baby Gear Guy compares top running strollers — Thule Urban Glide, BOB Flex and UPPAbaby Ridge.

The theme: a true jogging stroller needs a fixed (or lockable) front wheel and good suspension.

The point: never run with a swivel wheel unlocked — it can turn suddenly.

The takeaway: prioritize suspension, a hand brake and a lockable front wheel for safe runs.
