Buyer's guide
Pet product quality directly affects animal welfare, which raises the stakes compared to most consumer categories. Scrutinise safety certifications, material sourcing, and recall history more carefully than you might for equivalent human-use products.

If a specific criterion matters more to you—or not at all—use the weight sliders at the top of this page to recalculate the ranking to match your own requirements. “If you have fast running dog that escape. The Fi is not good. The GPS takes forever to connect and update every one minute if it actually does update.”
“I use the Trackive XL. They don't last. My first one started out with great battery life, but the battery got weak over time until the unit needed to be charged every day or two in order to have enough charge to be useful if my dog were lost. My second unit started out with great battery life, but it is going downhill was well. I am using both of the batter saving functions and I still have poor battery life. Customer service doesn't answer my emails.”
“What if I'm somewhere there is no cell coverage ? Which one is the best gps tracking collar system ?”
“What would you suggest if we already have a fenced in yard, but there are different areas of the yard you dont want your dog getting into?”
